HCA Use Case - Channel Descriptions
The HCA Use Case uses three channels as part of the full use case. All three channels are then available directly from the Channel Menu and for use in the HCA Dashboard.
HCA Hospitals Channel
The first channel to set up is the HCA Hospitals Channel (Click to view channel). Using Query Strings and Simple Query String Syntax, the channel captures news for local HCA affiliated hospitals from local news sources, giving me a rich set of very specific news about the local hospitals not available anywhere else.

HCA Bond Ratings Channel
The second channel I set up is the HCA Bond Rating Channel (Click to view channel). This channel focused on a News Feed associated with the topic Bond Loan Ratings, both upgrades and downgrades along with the Moody's rating feed, all filtered so that only articles related to HCA are shown.

HCA Competitors Channel
The third and final channel I set up is the HCA Competitors Channel (Click to view channel). This channel consists of the top nine competitors to HCA based on the Top Ten members of the Health Care Providers & Services GICS industry group, of which HCA is a member.
