Newsletter Scheduling

Newsletters can be scheduled for delivery using one of several available scheduling types:

  • Daily
    • Set up a schedule to be delivered once a day. The schedule can be configured to generate the Newsletter on one or more specific days of the week at a designated time.
  • Weekly
    • A weekly schedule allows you to deliver on a specific day of the week. You can designate an interval (1 week, 2 weeks, etc.) between Newsletters along with the time of day to deliver them.
  • Monthly
    • A monthly schedule set up to deliver the Newsletter on a specific day of the month. A monthly schedule has an interval parameter that allows you to deliver every other month, every third, etc.
  • Yearly
    • A yearly schedule allows you to publish a Newsletter on a specific day of the year. You can use intervals for a yearly schedule as well.
  • Hourly
    • An hourly schedule is used to set up a more active notification capability. It will deliver a Newsletter on any schedule based on 15 minute increments. This can be used when time sensitive news updates are required.

Note

  • Articles will be published using the date and time frame since the last published newsletter. This includes irregular intervals like a weekend for a daily newsletter. This same timeframe is used for the Newsletter Landing Page button at the bottom of the published newsletter.
  • If you need to schedule a combination of schedule types for the same newsletter, you can do that by using the same channel for different scheduled deliveries.
