Newsletter Landing Page

One of the optional features for a Newsletter is the inclusion of a button that links the recipient to the Newsletter Landing Page. The landing page includes analysis information and allows for searching, filtering and access to other news contained in the newsletter channel.

Newsletter Landing Page

The landing page link can be included in a newsletter. The landing page itself allows the user to navigate and analyze the stories from the channel. The page consists of a set of widgets that help you navigate and search the articles from the Newsletter Channel.

Note

The new widgets and dashboard all contain a significant upgrade to the navigation capabilities. Any entity that you see can be immediately added to the filter by clicking on it. All of the widgets that use the current context channel (colored circle) will be automatically updated with the new context. To remove context, just click on the entity name in the context line at the top of any of the widgets.

The primary widget to use for navigation is the Mentions widget in the left column. This widget displayes all of the entities returned using the current contex setting.

Newsletter Landing Page Navigation

The Navigation widget lists the entities contained in the news widget and allows the user to see and use the entities listed to navigate the articles in the feed. Click on the arrows next to the Entity Types listed in the widget.

Newsletter Landing Page Companies

Select the entities you want to use in the filter and then click the appropriate button at the bottom of the list to add those entities to the dashboard filter.

Newsletter Landing Page Filtered

At this point, you can click again on the menu to close the navigation widget. Additionally, any entity in the news feed or any word in the word cloud will also be added to the filter for the dashboard. You can remove the filtered entities by clicking on them in the top context bar.
