Event
An Event is something that has happened associated with an Entity. Events are detected by FTS Apollo™ as part of the ongoing analysis of Article Frequency being analyzed. As Articles are captured, the rate of them being published for every Entity is analyzed against the historical Article Frequency during the time period and day of the week. When the frequency is significantly higher than expected, an Event has been detected.
Once an Event is detected, FTS Apollo™ will analyze the associated article, determine what the event was, and add it to the list of Events for that Entity.
Viewing Events
You can view events for a specific Entity using the Entity Events Widget
You can also view all detected events using the Trending Events WIdget
