They symbols option is used by several different types of Widgets. It consists of one or more Symbols separated by commas.
Usage by Type:
| Type | Usage |
|---|---|
| Entity | The Entity Widgets widgets use the symbols option to indicate the entity to use within that Widget when the entity is a Public Company. If more than one symbol is used, the widget will have one tab for each symbol used. |
| Channel | The Channel Widget uses the symbols option to filter the Channel being displayed within the widget. |
| Quote | The Quote widgets use the symbols as inputs to display quote information for that symbol. When used in a Quote Widget, the symbol can include the Country Code or the Exchange Code for the traded security. |
