They channelId option is used by several different types of Widgets. It consists of a Channel ID associated with an available Channel.
Usage by Type:
| Widget | Usage |
|---|---|
| Entity News | The Entity News Widget widgets use the channelId option to indicate the Channel to use as a filter for the News Feed displayed for that Entity. |
| Channel | The Channel Widget uses the channelId option to determine which Channel to display. |
| Channel Edit | The Channel Edit Widget uses the channelId to determine which Channel to make available for editing. |
| Top Entities Widget | The Top Entities Widget uses the channelId to determine which News Feed to use to analyze which Entities are mentioned the most. |
