Article Card
The Article Card that appears in the list view of a News Feed contains a large amount of information and navigation capabilities. It is designed to give you a synopsis of the article consisting of the article headline, a summary of the article and a picture if one is provided with the article itself. In addition, the box tells you which tags have been assigned to that article, when it was published, where it was published and offers several ways to share the article.
Headline
To read the article, click on the headline and you will be brought to the original article on the site it was pulled from.
Underneath the headline, there will be a summary of the article itself. This will give you a quick way to get an idea of what is actually in the article without having to go read it.
Summary
Entities
Below the summary, the top relevant Entity Tags associated with the article are made available.
The article card will show the most relevant entities associated with the article. These are all available to click on and update the current context.
Publisher
To the left of the article text section is the Publisher Box for the article.
The Publisher Box will display the name of the publisher for the article along with how long ago the article was found and if the article was found in any other source locations.
In the lower right corner of the entities section is a icon with the number of other entities tagged to the article. Click on the link associated with the number to open up the full article card display.
All Entities
With the article card opened, you will see the full headline, the full summary, and every entity tagged to the article by entity type.
Share
If you want to share the article, click on the :fluentui-ic_fluent_share-24-filled:.
This will open up a menu for you to share the article.
Click the type of share desired to initiate the sharing process.
